ChildsLife has set up an emergency fund from which humanitarian aid for Ukrainian families is realized. The assistance offered is diverse and adapted to individual needs of displaced mothers and children. At the moment ChildsLife focusses on the refugees who reside in Moldova and Romania. ChildsLife supplies families and shelters with vital relief items. The center for disabled children in Barlad, Eastern Romania will take care of refugee children with disabilities in cooperation with ChildsLife. Some families need medical support and others help of a practical nature, such as a meal, a stroller or access to internet or telephone. Furthermore, ChildsLife will soon establish an AnneNoor Education Center specifically for Ukrainian children.
ChildsLife has been working in Eastern Europe since 1997 under the leadership of ChildsLife Romania director Florian Ivan. The years of experience, expertise and the close network of partners in the field, has enabled ChildsLife Romania to respond directly in this crisis.
