Program Education, After-School Care, Training and Outreach
The ChildsLife education program includes more than the regular school program. In Eastern Europe, where the school day is very short and parents work very long hours, ChildsLife has set up an after school program, the AnneNoor Education Centres. In Kenya, ChildsLife works with girls and their parents to prevent FGM. We also train HIV+ mothers so they can build an independent life.

AnneNoor Education Centres
In Romania children only go to school until noon, while their parents often work the whole day. Therefore, ChildsLife started the AnneNoor Education centres: an after school program for children in the age of 5 to 10 years.
ChildsLife operates 7 AnneNoor centres, which open at 12 noon and take care of children until 6 in the evening. At these centres, children receive help with their homework, can play and are given a healthy lunch and snack.
